TimeCanopy is an appointment booking and scheduling platform designed for small businesses and independent service providers. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TimeCanopy platform, including the website and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
The Platform is open to any person or business that provides lawful services and wishes to accept appointments from clients. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that your business and services comply with all applicable local, provincial/state, and federal laws.
All new business accounts are subject to review and approval by TimeCanopy before becoming active. We reserve the right to decline any application at our sole discretion.
You may not use the Platform to offer, advertise, arrange, or facilitate any of the following:
Violations of this section will result in immediate and permanent removal from the Platform without notice or refund.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. TimeCanopy is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your credentials.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of any service you list on the Platform. TimeCanopy does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any service offered by any business on the Platform. The presence of a business listing on TimeCanopy does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by TimeCanopy.
We reserve the right to remove or modify any listing at our discretion, particularly where it appears to violate these Terms or applicable law.
TimeCanopy is currently in its testing phase. During this period, all accounts are free of charge with no monthly fees and no credit card required. Your first full month after any future paid tier launch will also be provided at no cost.
When the testing phase concludes, several tiers of service will be introduced. It is our intention to always offer a free or nearly-free tier that includes unlimited appointments. Any changes to pricing will be communicated well in advance — no surprises. You will have the opportunity to review your options before any fees apply.
TimeCanopy may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or permanently terminate any account that:

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. TimeCanopy makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Platform for any particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TimeCanopy and its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:
TimeCanopy is a technology intermediary only. We are not a party to any agreement between a service provider and a client, and we are not responsible for the performance, quality, safety, or legality of any service provided through the Platform.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TimeCanopy and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any service you provide or represent on the Platform; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
TimeCanopy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
If you become aware of any business or user violating these Terms — including the offering of illegal services — please report it immediately using our contact form. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
